Washington, D.C. – Today, Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) congratulated and thanked Vanderbilt University Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos, who announced today that he would be stepping down from his position on August 15.

“After more than a decade of dedicated service as Chancellor, Nicholas S. Zeppos should be congratulated by all members of the Vanderbilt community for a job well done,” Senator Blackburn said. “His legacy is best depicted through the generations of students who have used their education to improve the lives of others through leadership and public service.”
