Blackburn: The Left Wants the Support of the Federal Judiciary to Implement Government-Run Health Care

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, spoke with Fox News’s Harris Faulkner ahead of tonight’s vote to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.
“People with pre-existing conditions are not going to lose coverage and that is a bipartisan provision that came about from Republicans in the House and Democrats in the Senate,” said Senator Blackburn. “What the left is worried about is having a constitutionalist judge who would block them in their goal to do a government run-health care program, Medicaid-for-All. They want to take away the private health insurance from 153 million Americans and 57 million that are in Medicare and put them all into a Medicare-type delivery system.”
