Blackburn Congratulates Tennessee Ranking Fifth for Business Growth

July 14, 2021

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) celebrates Tennessee ranking fifth in America’s Top States for Business. This is the Volunteer State’s first appearance in the top five for the CNBC report evaluating state competitiveness and economic growth among other metrics.

“The Volunteer State’s well-deserved rank in America’s Top States for Business is the result of decades of policies to foster business development, including my fight against the Tennessee state income tax,” said Senator Blackburn. “People are fleeing Democrat-run disasters like California in droves because of the overflow of opportunity resulting from fiscally conservative leadership. Thank you to the lawmakers, business owners, and families who continue to make Tennessee a great haven for growth.”
