“The radical left has weaponized the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization decision in their fearmongering campaign against the unborn. Their lies spread concerns that the decision outlaws abortion or birth control — it does neither. I set the record straight with Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch and talked about how we will create a culture that values life and empowers women while keeping power where it belongs — in the hands of the states,” said Senator Marsha Blackburn.
“We asked the hard question, overturning Roe v. Wade — that had never been posted up in such a manner for the Justices to review. And when we did, I think it was an opportunity for them to truly embrace, 'Hey, the Constitution did not confer this right? And so it is an opportunity to return it back to the states.'...The other side didn't really have anything up to offer... [Their arguments were] just more fear-driven,” Attorney General Lynn Fitch.
