Blackburn Announces Military, National Security Wins For Tennessee

U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) announced the following military and national security wins for Tennessee in the appropriations minibus that passed the Senate yesterday.
- $38 million for the Multipurpose Training Range at Fort Campbell;
- Investment in hypersonic weapons development, which strengthens operations at Arnold Air Force Base, University of Tennessee Space Institute at Tullahoma, University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory;
- Investment in Army Air Traffic Control Towers; which benefits Fort Campbell;
- Inclusion of Senator Blackburn’s proposal to prohibit the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) from operating or providing federal funds for drones produced in China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, and Cuba;
- Inclusion of Senator Blackburn’s proposal to allocate $10 million toward mobile mammography services for women veterans.
