WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) led several of her Senate GOP colleagues in introducing a resolution affirming the right to contraception following Democrats’ false claims that access to contraception is at risk:

“In an attempt to sow fear and confusion, Democrats have falsely claimed that contraception is under attack to distract from President Biden’s disastrous record,” said Senator Blackburn. “No Supreme Court decision threatens a woman’s right to contraception, and I fully support keeping it safe and legal. I am introducing this resolution to expose Democrats’ dishonest narrative for exactly what it is: a bald-faced lie.”

• U.S. Senators Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Steve Daines (R-Mont.), Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), Roger Marshall (R-Kan.), Katie Britt (R-Ala.), Ted Budd (R-N.C.), and Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) co-sponsored this resolution.
